As promised, here is what I hope is an accurate list of the reading materials which sparked so much lively and inspiring discourse this past Wednesday evening, in no particular order:

The Holographic Universe - Michael Talbot
Non-Violent Communication - Marshall B. Rosenberg and Arun Gandhi
The Ascent of Humanity - Charles Eisenstein
The Mythic Imagination - Steven Larsen
The Power of Myth - Joseph Campbell
The Cosmic Serpent - Jeremy Narby

Jessica also recommended this excellent site:

I would like to eventually create  a more organized database for this information, but for now I will post the lists that come up each week here. Any suggestions/ corrections would be greatly appreciated! I am so grateful to be included in such a dynamic and inspiring discourse with this group of illumined spirits and I look forward to our continuing meditations and conversations.

Stress, Disease, Pfizer, and the FDA

Another great reason to spread meditation. Vedic meditators have heard a lot from me already about the power of the practice to shed the stress that manifests as bodily symptoms and suffering. This article in today's New York Times says so much about the state of play in the US today:

Drug Approved. Is Disease Real?
Fibromyalgia is a real disease. Or so says Pfizer in a new television advertising campaign for Lyrica, the first medicine approved to treat the pain condition, whose very existence is questioned by some doctors. Here's the link:

First Event: Homeopathy Breaking Boundaries, Jan 27th

We'll be hosting this at 7pm on the 27th. It's going to be good. You must RSVP to reserve a spot: add comment below or email me. Know anyone else who wants to come?

Stories of Transformation: The Healing Path of Homeopathy
Malcolm Smith, N.D.

Recent advances in the practice of homeopathy are now producing high percentages of verifiable, curative outcomes in the treatment of serious illness. Dr. Malcolm Smith will share startling video footage of his patients before, during and after homeopathic treatment. Using refined analysis techniques from Mumbai, India, he'll demonstrate a technique used to identify the one substance in nature that holistically correlates to the patient's presenting state of disease. You'll then be invited to come to your own conclusion about homeopathy as you witness the deeply transformative responses that follow.

Malcolm Smith, ND is a naturopathic physician whose sole modality of practice is Classical Homeopathy. Utilizing new analysis techniques, he specializes in the treatment of cases which have not been helped by Western medicine. Dr. Smith lectures extensively both in the US and Europe using video case studies of patients with serious illness who undergo deeply curative responses from homeopathic treatment. His dynamic presentations at such medical institutions as UCSF, Duke University, and UNC have stirred interest in the potential of homeopathy to become a mainstream healing modality.

Dr. Smith is the founder of The Homeopathic Symposium, an on-line medical distance learning project which uses actual patient video footage to document and teach the homeopathic treatment of serious illness. He is currently in private practice in Portland, Oregon, and in Los Angeles, California.
